Rochon was raised in the Los Angeles suburb of Torrance, the daughter of Zelma who is a nurse practitioner, and Samuel Staples, a business director and graphic designer. People were angry over the departure of her character, and many wanted to see her return in future episodes. The show ended in 2012 but not before an intense discussion. Ullerup played the role of Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in the year 2016. Ullerup appeared as Maggie Thomas as the estranged ex-wife of Michael Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact. Ullerup also played Dale Travers, a recurring actor in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films from the year 2016 until the present.
