Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian singer and actress. She is most famous for her performances in American television series Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent film Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The movie was directed and written by her. Hennessy was brought up in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was an executive in sales and marketing. This required frequent travel that led to numerous family relocations. Maxine Her mother, also known as Maxine passed away in the year 1982. Her daughter was left in the care of Eleanor her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a journalist from Canada and host. Her ancestry is comprised of Irish, French, Swedish, and Italian descent on her father's and predominantly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both of which are located in Kitchener, Ontario, and utilized to be a busker in the Toronto subway. Hennessy along with her sister and their first acting role was as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress chosen to play the part, claimed she was selected to portray Dana Scully in The X-Files. The role ran for three seasons. She left the show following the year 1996.
