Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) on August 14, 1983. Kunis moved to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother), at the age of seven. It was a rough start for the Kunis family that arrived in their new country with only $250 in their pocket. Kunis' parents both quit their jobs to help their kids. Mark, who was a mechanical engineer, found work as an Uber driver. Elvira had previously taught Physics in Ukraine and eventually owned the pharmacy. Kunis said that she didn't understand American culture when first arriving in the United States. "I didn’t understand the people. I was not conversant in the language. My first sentence of my essay for admission to college was like, 'Imagine being deaf and blind at the age of seven.' It was a very difficult experience to move into the States. But I got over it pretty fast." Milena Markovna Kunis is the daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was August 14, 1983. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother is employed as a teacher of physics, however, she runs a pharmacy well. Her father is an engineer in mechanical engineering by profession. He also is also a cab driver. Her family moved to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary was where she went to school. When she was just nine-years-old she started acting classes. After auditioning for several commercials and a variety of other commercials, she was an actor in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. In 1998, she was given the role of Jackie Burkhart in the hit sitcom "That  1970s Show". The show received praise for her performance, and was later requested to voice to the character in 'Family Guy' in the role of Meg Griffin.
