Jacquavius Dennard Smith (born May 1st in 2000), professionally known as 9lokkNine (pronounced and was previously known as typeset GlokkNine), is an American rapper. Most well-known is his hit songs "10 Percent", which has garnered more than 30 million views on YouTube as well as "223's" (with YNW Melly) which reached number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100. 9lokkNine released his first mixtape, Kold Face Kold Case with nine tracks on January 2nd, 2018. He released his follow-up mixtape, Bloodshells Revenge with 18 tracks on April 17, 2018. 9lokkNine's music video "I don't require any assistance" was released on May 8, 2018. On July 23, 2018 the singer released his mixtape of 17 tracks, Loyalty Kill Love. On August 3, 2018 He signed with Cash Money Records and Republic Records. A press release announced that the deal was valued at $2 million. On the 19th of December, 2018, he released the 11-track mixtape The Lil Glokk That Stole Christmas. In April 2019, 9lokkNine released his single "Party Pooper". 9lokkNine appeared on a YNW Melly song called "223's", but he originally released it as a single from his December 2018 mixtape Lil Glokk That Stole Kristmas. It became a huge hit when it was popularized through TikTok an app for mobile devices that allows users to dance to popular music. 9lokkNine's 16-track mixtape Mind of Destruction was released on the 25th of October, 2019. It was his debut mixtape release. On February 5, 2020, the artist released his debut single "Moods".
