6ix9ine, also known as 'Six Nine', or 'Tekashi69, is an American rapper who's real name is Daniel Harnandez. The chart-topping single "Gummo" and which was certified platinum, is his most well-known track. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he faced financial hardships throughout his childhood. To make a living the family, he was kicked out of school and started working in street jobs. Harnandez began his journey into music by uploading his music to websites like 'SoundCloud and YouTube which soon gained a lot of attention and a number of followers. Harnandez is famous for his unique and creative music videos. The singles he released "Gummo," "Kooda," and 'Keke', were included in the Billboard Top 100. The debut mixtape "Day69" included well-known artists like Young Thug, 'Offset and 'Fetty Wap' among others. There are a variety of tattoos on his body, as well as long, vibrant hair. Since young age Hernandez has been implicated in numerous criminal cases as well as, being involved in controversy with artists. Hernandez has a daughter who is just a few years old. His criminal record contains alarming accusations. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to a felony count of 'Use of a Child in sexual Performance' (he has three felony charges against him). In the early part of 2015, he uploaded three videos on his Facebook page where he and another man were seen having a sexual encounter with a minor girl of 13-14 years of age. In 2017, he spoke out about the incident with DJ Akademics.
