Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is an actress from the United Kingdom.
She is a British actress and Canadian actor. Her role in the role of Samantha
Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is one of her most famous roles. She
won five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominees. In 2002
she won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in
the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Cattrall first
appeared in Rosebud (1975) and then began to appear in diverse roles on
television. With films like Ticket To Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984),
Hold-Up (85), City Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little China [86], Mannequin[]
(1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989 and The Return of the
Musketeers in 1989, Cattrall became known as a household name. Tribute (1980),
Porky's(1981), Turk 182 (85) and Baby Geniuses(1999) were some of her
appearances. Other credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Star
Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (91), Split Second (1992), Above Suspicion
(95) and 15 Minutes (192001).
